تُمثل القدرة على تكوين علاقات صحية مع الآخرين جزءاً ضروريًا في حياة الإنسان. ومع ذلك، عندما تتحول هذه الروابط مع الآخرين إلى تعلق مرضي، فإن  تلك المشاعر  تصبح مصدرًا للضرر، لأن المصابون بالتعلق المرضي يعانون من تدني إحترام الذات والتطلع خارج حدودهم الذاتية للتخفيف من محنتهم، ويمكن لذلك أن يؤدي إلى العديد من المشاكل العاطفية والسلوكية التي قد تكون ضارة، ليس على المستوى الشخصي بل حتى على محيطه الإجتماعي والأسري ، ولذا فإن هذا البرنامج العلاجي المكون من أربع جلسات اسبوعية والمُعد خصيصًا لكل حالة من أجل تحديد الأسباب الرئيسية للتعلق المرضي وتوظيف أفضل الأ ساليب العلاجية لتحديد أنماط الأفكار والمشاعر والأفعال التي تقوي الشعور بالسلبية في حياتهم وتعلم استراتيجيات لكسر هذه الأنماط، وتحسين مستوى إدراك الذات لديهم وعلاقاتهم بالآخرين.

The ability to form healthy relationships with others is a necessary part of human life. However, when these bonds with others turn into pathological attachment, those feelings become a source of harm, because those with pathological attachment suffer from low self-esteem and look outside their own boundaries to alleviate their distress, and this can lead to many emotional and behavioral problems that may be Harmful, not on the personal level, but even on his social and family environment, and therefore this therapeutic program consisting of four weekly sessions, prepared specifically for each case, is in order to identify the main causes of pathological attachment and employ the best therapeutic methods to identify patterns of thoughts, feelings, and actions that strengthen the feeling of negativity in their lives.
